Much better news on this: although the new registrations are not available by the UN OOSA web site, they can be found by guessing the document ID string on the main UN documents site documents.un.org - so it's a pain but not a total roadblock

I had cached PDFs of the English versions myself until 2018; wish I hadn't stopped. In case of further deterioration of the UN site, I have put a complete set of (mix of English and Russian versions of) the ST/SG/SER.E documents on my site at planet4589.org/space/un/doc...

The situation with the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) website is even worse than I thought. Not only are new registrations not being published, but most of the links to the *old* docs are broken. Except for the versions in Russian; for some reason you can get those ok.

Here is the comment on the OOSA page, but "Information... can be found here" is not true in that no new documents have been posted as far as I can see.

I think this is pretty serious: for several months the UNOOSA (UN Office of Outer Space Affairs) has not been making public new sat registrations apparently because of an IT policy issue. A month or two I could accept, but at this point it's a failure of the international space governance regime

The Integrity spacecraft just entered the lunar gravitational sphere of influence, at 0438 UTC Apr 6. Wiseman, Glover, Koch and Hansen are now the 25th to 28th humans to have left terrestrial space.

Today's calculation: how long does a satellite in a circular orbit stay up when it stops all reboost burns? Depends on a lot of things, especially solar activity, but let's average over all of that and do a Kaplan-Meier analysis in 50 km height bins on 69 years of actual data.

At 1207 UTC, while near apogee, Integrity made a small (1 m/s?) perigee raise burn.

The Artemis II Integrity spacecraft is now coasting downwards and will reach perigee of about 195 km late on Apr 2. At 2349:50 UTC it will make the TLI (Trans-Lunar Injection) burn, a 388 m/s burn lasting 5m51s to raise apogee to lunar distance.

Space Force orbit data now out for 15 objects from the Rassvet-3 launch. The satellites are in a 288 x 324 km x 82.3 deg orbit and will presumably raise their orbits soon. We were expecting data for 17 objects (16 payloads and the Soyuz upper stage).

NASA claims the Art. 2 reentry will be the fastest crew entry ever at "about 25000 mph" (i.e. somewhere in the range 10.95 to 11.40 km/s). However the Horizons trajectory for Art2 appears to give 11.06 km/s (inertial) while Apollo 10 is cited at 11.094 km/s. Can anyone clarify?

The Firefly Alpha launch appears to have been fully successful. The LM-400 test satellite is being tracked in a 401 x 405 km x 123.0 deg orbit, and the Alpha second stage made a perigee lowering burn at about 0140 UTC to 231 x 423 km x 123.1 deg.
