Minor vent. It's telling that I opened the door to make amends to someone months back, yet said person would continue wanting to gossip and even attack my other friends for whatever reason. It was silly of me for wanting to give the benefit of the doubt. Beat it, chick. You either mean it or don't.

Every few months I'm forced to re-learn that most people, regardless of ideology, don't actually believe in anything. Morality, ethics, they are all just these burdens to be tossed aside in the name of expediency; having principles only gets you mocked and rebuked as petty, or naive. It hurts.
