We got 'em. The AI is crude right now, just an idiot that does its best to drive right at you, but the puppet system is doing its job! There are tweaks to make to this basic navigation, like cutting engine input only when the alignment is way off so turns are smoother, but this is a great start!

It was surprisingly easy to connect most of the parts together to make the base of the enemy node... Though I had to unfortunately hardcode most of what my dynamic arrays and scene groups were doing due to cross contamination of the tree.

In game dev news, my vehicle is now tele-operated via inputs passed to it by a controller node. This allows me to use the same packaged instance for both AI and Player-Controlled nodes.

In light of this, I want to remind people that cutesy sit-ins and sign-waving in a public space is not the antidote. You find the people in power, you get loud, and you be persistent. Find out who you need to contact and flood them with your most visceral, uncompromising complaints.

Game update: Homing missiles now track the nearest target! Need to limit homing capability to FoV, of course, but it's a start! Also working on a Codex node which contains transmissible ID info so I can easily reference vehicle data while keeping most stuff out of the movement code.

Radar implemented! It's smart enough to distinguish between projectiles and enemies, still a WIP though.

Mulling over in my head how I want targeting to work. In Twisted Metal, targeting has historically been based on viewpoint and proximity. It was a "best guess" because most combat was heavily reliant on your facing. That said, I could probably introduce more player agency.
