I love coding, but it works thus: Day 3: Basic game structure in place, Physic engine works, 90% of graphics done. Day 9,345: Go nuts trying to work out why a text object doesn't appear and spend 9 hours fiddling until changing its flag from 500 to 505 solves it and that doesn't even make sense.

Google has informed me my account will deleted on Google Play unless I jump through a whole bunch of hoops. The killer is they now require a set amount of verified playtesters for each app. I don't even know that many people!.

I often get kind requests to translate SH2, and I keep all the text as .txt files with that in mind, but here's the issue. Text is assembled string arrays with tokens the game replaces, e.g. $victim=name, $his=his/her depending. I don't know if this would work in other language construction.

Your game filtered a 'real' pony name! There's over 12,000 name combinations, and some are the same as well-known MLP characters, so it's changed to a special name. Your Klutz has been filtered from 'Derpy Hooves'. This doesn't apply to user-made ponies in the update, you can name them how you like.

The cake shop in SH2 has been revamped, shop itself looks empty atm as I can't draw assets due to a broken right arm! Depending on how sociable they are, ponies know bits of info about each other and they learn more as the game goes on. It's your job to get it out of them. #gamedev #mlp #indiedev

A crit against Slaughter Horse 2 is how RNG it is, quite right. A lot of the update is doing away with that as much as possible. The player won't see these messages but now the ponies are all interacting, learning about each other and making choices depending on the player's actions. #indiedev #mlp
