Finished my stream drawing maps and testing them against Brady Brammer's Bogus Bill. The first of these 3 maps, drawn without regard for partisan data, fails Brammer's tests. The following 2 maps, drawn to intentionally favor specific parties, pass them. VOD and map links below:

This bill's test passes the vast majority of gerrymanders (including the current one) and fails most fair maps. It is quite literally worse than having no test at all.

Map C has the following: District 2: R+7 District 3: R+2 (And of course the cursed R+48 that encompasses St George) Could very easily be a 2-2 map…

A full 16-minute drive, one-way, from East High School in Salt Lake City you will find this lighting pole sign hanging at Cheyanne St and California Ave. This is a testament on the long commutes Westside students in SLC have to endure each day to get to/from their in-boundary high schools.

Sandall asks Trende how 2021 maps fare under Prop 4. Trende - they would all have problems. 4-way split of Salt Lake County (split of Juab too). All of them fail the partisan bias test. They all fall outside the bounds of the redistricting simulations - drawn with partisan intent. Lol.
