Was planning to try to get a COVID booster and MMR booster this weekend, but the universe gave me the flu instead. *sad trombone* I guess that’s what I get for leaving the house the past 2 weekends.

Well, I had like 7 days of relief from back pain. Then today, I bent down to reach something and *felt* my back just fucking give way. And no pain relief works on me so far. Such a bummer.

The Dr office called this afternoon to schedule a chest CT. I acted like I was totally coherent, but I was out of it. Folks, I have no idea when I scheduled that 😆 I’ve gotta call them back tomorrow & pretend I “forgot to write the date down.”

Trying to fall asleep. I had a spinal steroid injection this afternoon. It went well, and now the meds just need to take effect. This afternoon it was full body sweats, and now I’m having a fair amount of hip and leg pain tonight. Fingers crossed that I’m not too miserable tomorrow!

I think I have reached “can’t remember if I took my pill” years old. Ladies and gents, I am 42.

Well, I would have liked to go to the state fair this year, but the heat index is +110. Fuck climate change, for real.
