My penguin sweater for hubby is done! #knitting Here is yoke after blocking. I decided to do ladderback jacquard stranded technique for very first time instead of catching floats for long stretches of black behind white. Watched a bunch of YouTube videos to learn. Very happy with results!

Progress on the penguins. Fun pattern. Should finish it in the next few days. I noticed a slight mistake I made in the placement of the snowflakes above the penguins. They're just a bit to the left when they should be centered. Oh well, the recipient (my hubby) is to the left too. :-) #Knitting

Anyone who already recertifies annually for Medicaid with work requirements (yes, it’s a thing) knows it’s a ridiculous joke in big,horrid bill that everyone entitled will have to do it, and more often. With no increase in staff or technology in these offices, it’s insane. People will be hurt.

I wonder how much profit Quest Diagnostics makes from those who blindly pay small amounts and don't double check claims? My kid is dual special needs. $0 copay for routine labs. Quest invoices $10-20 every single time. I fight it and win after I call them and raise heck every time. It's tiring.

I left Twitter a week after Musk took over in 2022. Not because I feared he would destroy a network I enjoyed. Which he eventually did. But because he heartlessly destroyed lives of its employees. A few months later other tech bros followed his lead because no one in power stood up to stop it.

My husband wanted to swing by Target to buy a new electric toothbrush. I said, “you know, there are other stores that sell them.” I value companies that prioritize employing people who don’t look and think like the hiring manager. And now we’re NOT shopping at Target today. It was that easy.
