People of BlueSky, I need your opinion! I've got the parts for my Ogre-themed Shards of Valagharr - two pairs of the beartrap hands from the Ogre Blood Bowl kit. Do they look better facing outward or inward? I had prepared outward, but now I'm doing the dry run, I'm in two minds. #AoS

Today on "stuff I've bought on Etsy today": a goblin wood-mech to add to my Crimson Keep AoR as a VLoNS, and some weird robo-Jawas to fill in as 10/11ths of my Sky-Port Profiteers.

Currently assembling a Soulscream Bridge, in an attempt to actually have some optimal Manifestation tech in the army. My wife is convinced I've moved on from giant snakes to giant millipedes in my army.

So my last game revealed that The Maneater Legion needs even more mobility than Kragnos provides. So I'm going to have to start properly playing with the Sky-Port Profiteers and Forbidden Power. Anyone got a good Ogre-themed solution for Shards of Valgarr and for some steampunk Dwarfs? #AoS

Had my second friendly game at TT Bromley, and Tony got his revenge for the prior thrashing. Still could've won it if I hadn't cocked half my Turn 1 charges by misplacing the Butcher, and rolling Tadpole-levels of 1s all game long. But still a good fun game! #AoS

Apparently both my game plan and my dice came to a friendly pickup game loaded for a shark tank. Tony castled up a bit too much in deployment, and the dice didn't let him recover from it. We both had fun, which was the important thing, and have already pencilled in a rematch! #AoS

I've just made plans to have a non-tournament, in-person game of AoS at my nearest FLGS. Not my usual modus operandi - aside from one game against Tadpole in his living room before a tournament, that last happened when my Ogres still lived on square bases, and before I knew about FLGSes! #AoS

One of my projects when we were in the States the other month was a round of my other favourite game, "boxing up stuff for a podcast". And last week, said box made it onto the podcast, and everyone had a good time... apart from one unfortunate dog.
