I think I'm gonna start more regularly streaming horror games alongside the shiny hunting. I love shiny hunting, I built my entire channel off of it, but I love horror games and I think the odd stream might be a fun break for both me and you guys :) Tonight we start Fatal Frame!

Finished Silent Hill f on stream last night, now I gotta decide if I want to attempt the other 4(!) endings. I might just try for the main 3, but man, another 8 hours per playthrough is steep for a couple different cutscenes.

TIL my CPU cooler is way underpowered for my monstrous i9-12900k and have been pushing it a little too hard and running it way too hot for over 4 years lol. Time to upgrade to an overpriced Noctua U12A :')

I made a pretty big breakthrough last night on the e-Reader API! A function has been tripping me up for a couple months now. It looked like it took parameters but I could never find them! Turns out, like RST n, the params are in ROM Meet PlayStaticSystemSound! ereader.miraheze.org/wiki/ERAPI-Z...

The e-Reader function, SetTextSize, is one I have avoided because it didn't always work correctly. @fexcollects.standingintheodds.com cracked the code on it using Ghidra. We really need to crack the whole rom using Ghidra. Some day :)

Ending my Elder Scrolls series playthrough with where it all began, ARENA! Rightfully a little buggy because it's ancient, but with a key remap mod it's tolerable. Daggerfall is the better DOS game and Morrowind is likely the best in the series, but Arena is more fun than I thought!
