I love permadeath & speedrun modes in games. To me Permadeath is relaxing. Yes it increases the stakes but after ya play enough times and begin to really learn the game there is a peace in it. Speedrunning has appealed to me since the I beat Aladdin on SNES the same day I got it (b-day) & loved it-

#Silksong in my opinion is one of the best games ever made & easily the best Metroidvania.

Y’all, I’m fighting her for like the 50th time now but I think my new favorite boss in Silksong is First Sinner. The pacing, the moves, the aggression, the back and forth frenetic nature of the fight. It’s all pure boss fighting bliss! Terrified and excited to see what DLC bosses TC come up with 🖤
