I endorse this wholeheartedly, and will go a step further: if you live in a state that requires licensure to own a firearm, get licensed. It's usually a pretty inexpensive process. Getting licensed doesn't commit you to owning a gun, but it'll make the process much quicker if you find you need one.

The thing we need to be preparing for is the latter. What are you going to do to help your neighbors vote this year? Who are you going to volunteer for? Which organizations will you give money to, so that they can fight this administration?
