It's going to feel strange being back in the Los Angeles Convention Center for the first time tomorrow for my LA Comic-Con panel interview with Dan Houser. Once a yearly stop for E3, my last time in there was 2021 I think? I expect a wave of nostalgia to hit me when I walk in.

After a weekend with my new Apple devices, the 17 Pro Max is nice, as expected, but the best upgrade I made was going from my Series 6 Watch to an Ultra 3. I thought it might be too bulky for my bony wrist, but nope, it looks fine IMO! And the 2-day battery life is just AWESOME.

The Mandalorian and Grogu looks like it's going to be a lighthearted, pulpy adventure based on today's trailer. Even the title screen screamed it. I'm all for this; Andor is GOATed but there's room for Star Wars that doesn't take itself too seriously too.

FIVE YEARS IN. Just go full Sega at this point, Microsoft, and spare us this nonsense. Good lord. 🙄 Maybe I should flip my launch-day Xbox Series X for a profit now and just play on my PC. 😂

Just picked up my new iPhone at an Apple Store, so of course I stopped to check out the Air. As someone who's rocked a 12 Pro Max for 5 years it's VERY impressively thin and light. Wow. (And yes, Android folks, I know y'all have one of these too and have for a minute now and that's awesome too!)

Prepping the Dan Houser interview questions and realizing that I seriously need like THREE HOURS with this dude to hit on everything I want to talk about. Sadly I don't have anywhere near that long. Welp, that's the job I guess: to make the best of the time I've got!

Since it's been quite a while since I've upgraded (five years!), I'm getting super excited about New Apple Stuff Day™ tomorrow. I took the day off already as it's my birthday this weekend, so it should be a fun way to kick off the celebration! 😁

Maybe a hot '90s music take? I dunno. Collective Soul has some seriously cool guitar riffs. Seriously, go back and listen to some of their hits (and it turns out they had a LOT of them). Their lead guitarist had some great stuff.

I am 100% going to play through Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 again. I've got SMG1 in Super Mario 3D All-Stars, but I focused more on Sunshine in that one. Looking forward to running back both Galaxies again. They are two of my favorite 3D Mario games.

I somehow missed that a playable Steam demo for Dispatch dropped. I played it last night & LOVED it. It's from ex-Telltale people & it plays like what Telltale would've done if it had survived & evolved (& ditched the awful Telltale Engine). It's funny, beautiful, & fast-paced.
