I think something a lot of Dem voters don’t understand is that citizens of other democracies also hold animosity for the non Trump voters. Many of the conditions that Dem party leaders and members consistently engage in and protect are factors that lead to Trump’s authoritarian rise.

The centrist Democrats who vote for this CR are the ones "falling on the sword" for the others. There will be Dems who do not vote for this, but secretly worked in favor of it. This needs to be part of a broader strategy of eliminating centrist Dems from office.
