Getting a sunlamp for my living room has really helped with the evening sleepiness. I swear 5:30 hits and I'm ready for bed, but I guess with the lamp on helps my circadian rhythm keep going

I promised some samples of lettering from the manga Hope You're Happy, Lemon by Mizuki Kishikawa, so here we go. It's now on sale! Kishikawa's style is really fun, and super busy at times, and I had a lot of fun trying to match it.

Every time I watch Max I think how badly I want a dog just like him. Originally I started pet sitting because I wasn't ready for a pet due to my cat passing away, but now because I pet sit I can't get a pet lol On the flip side I get to meet and spend time with many great dogs.

My favorite dog is visiting, I love him so much, he's the best and he knows it. Bear hugs, belly rubs and when you're kneeling by him he'll put his arms up to give you a big hug

I got to take Freya to work with me today and spend the afternoon together. She looves her sweatshirt which I find impossibly adorable haha

I bought a waffle iron to essentially make crispy veggies, I'm sure there was a more practical way of doing it but I just really wanted it. Half a cup of spinach and cauliflower rice, eggs, 3 types of cheese, protein powder, bacon and some sugar free maple syrup 🥰 it was indeed crispy

If FFXIV redid itself in the same format as the Omega fight in Monster Hunter as if it was a single player RPG I would play every second of it.

Eating healthier comes with this duality of "man I feel so much better" mixed with "ugh I don't feel like it tonight". Followed by "I'm so glad I did it tonight." And it's a repeating cycle daily

I've been in a music league with friends submitting songs with different themes. This week was songs from 2000-2009 and man what a blast from the past. I think the most shocking thing was songs I didn't quite "get" then and now I hear them again and go "Oh that's what they meant." as a non-teenager

Sometimes when I make low carb / sugar free desserts they're good when they're fresh but might have a taste or harden when cooling down, but man this thing is so good. I couldn't resist some pumpkin comfort with it being the first day of fall

My cousin has been crocheting me a mushroom stuffed animal that has turned into the size of a toddler, and her dog does not appreciate it haha

I've waited to listen to the new Tyler album when I could motivate myself back into the gym and I have to say on a fan and glad I waited until I was moving like he instructed

The movie Together was wild LOL wtf did I watch.

I swear animals can heal your soul, this cute little lady spent the weekend with me and she was a little velcro dog, and I loved spending every second with her.

I'm back home and had the best sleep of my life last night. I'll be returning to work tomorrow!

The Avenged Sevenfold and SOAD concert in Chicago was incredible. I don't ever think I'll get an opportunity like that again. We were high up but it was so amazing to look down at everything and the music was amazing. When SOAD was playing the stands were shaking from the head banging and jumping!

Took a train into Chicago and about to see the science museum after some lunch. This is the first time I'm in Chicago aside from a layover flight at the airport

Last day in Indiana before going to Chicago tomorrow with my cousin for our concert. Gonna check out the science museum too! Next week back to work! But until then enjoy a little moth with a fur lined white cape

Flying out to Indiana today, spend the rest of the week with my cousin. We've got a SOAD concert lined up this weekend and then I'm flying back home!

My grandpa and I fed peas to ducks today at the park! We had a whole group swim up to us and crowd around haha

I caught myself tearing up a few times while driving the closer I got to PA. I really needed to take some time to see family again, it's been way overdue.

Anime NYC was a huge success, thank you everyone who visited the FAKKU booth! New Yorkers seemed to really like the You Piss Me Off t-shirt with Hamao's girl on it haha. Everyone was so pleasant and I had such a great stay in New York!

I had the best night in ages with @snayke.bsky.social and @bnb.im tonight. Thank you two so much for inviting me out! Hotpot, bbq, gelato and cannolis! I took the subway down to Chinatown and I even got to see a cute little rat scurrying after exiting haha.

New York City is everything I imagined but even more amazing.

I'm so excited to travel for Anime NYC tomorrow. I'm even more excited that after I'll be renting a car and going to see my grandpa. Books will still be running full steam ahead with Ryan at the wheel while I'm traveling! It'll be so nice to see some family, I haven't seen them since pre covid.
