Who would’ve thought that OBS’ automatic streaming settings for Twitch was actually working right. My manual settings, which was just 5000kbps was causing stuttering for the stream but switching it to automatic caused it go up to 10000kbps and is smooth as glass. Twitch please???

So uh, this old PC at my shop has a HP StorageWorks DAT 40 tape drive in it and it seems to be an expensive piece of hardware still.

HECTOR DOWN! Why did this fight feel stupidly easy? Like, once you get past M6S, it's pretty much like a 4-6 week fight. Cleared M6S on August 5th. Cleared M7S on September 11th. If you're still on M6S, keep on trucking! Hector is a breath of fresh air after that.

I cleaned my phone speakers out with some isopropyl and a 165hz sound and uh, ew. The amount of crap that came out of the bottom speaker. I needed to do this because my ear speaker had become so clogged that it was very hard to hear out of on a phone call and even as a speaker it was too quiet.

By the way, I did the week math for the rest of Dawntrail’s patch cycle the other night and going off of Endwalker’s cycle with roughly the same weekly cadence for 7.5, 8.0 is shaping up to be right smack in Jan/Feb 2027. Fan Fests do not dictate release of the expansion, the patch cycle does.

"FFXIV will die because of this" Until I see this screen not appear regularly whenever I log into the game, then I might believe such words, but until them, XIV will continue on and will have minimal impact on the bottom line except maybe losing a very small percentage of players.

I know people are upset but the way I'm seeing full mental breakdown in say chat, party finder descriptions, official XIV forums and steam reviews about mare and mods is an eyeroll. At this point it feels like natural selection because the fight club decided to manifest about the fight club.

While Mare did ruin RP for me in XIV, I would be very hesitant to to try and get anything similar running like it anytime soon. This is a legal reason why it was taken down and trying to get anything similar back up and running for it this soon will almost certainly receive another legal notice.

The timing of the event seems to line up with the timing of when 7.35 comes out so expect the event to drop alongside the patch release. Also, you do have to be lvl 100 and have completed Dawntrail in order to gain access to the event as well.

I've been doing something that is something I should've done years ago, but I'm finally getting rid of retainers. I've been at 9 retainers for a long time now and since I've got all of them back right now, I'm hoping to dismiss at least 2 of them. I've got 1 gone already and working on a 2nd.

Looks like Viz/Toei did do some tweaks to Sailor Moon with the re-uploaded versions on YouTube compared to the original Hulu versions. The first images are from Hulu which appears darker than the YouTube ones which are a little brighter, but little color correction done.

It's kind of funny that the fireworks basically look like they're being launched in Ishgard so I can imagine there's some Ishgardian noble complaining about the noise from the fireworks that are launching all the time from on top of the Pillars.

Been a while so here's some new pics with the new outfit. I will say, the new Moonfire Faire space is very well done, even doing music changes for the day and night cycle with the normal song playing during the day and the Pulse version of the Limsa theme playing at night.

I’m pretty sure Grindr has a huge exploit right now with bots. I’ve gotten more bot taps and messages over the last couple of weeks than I have in a very long time. It sucks since I actually do use it to keep in touch with some. 🙃
