✊️We as Young European Socialists will not tolerate Trump’s way of “cooperating”. The new deal is far from equal and the EU must act!

💪At a time when the EU should strengthen its sovereignty, Von der Leyen, on her own, deals to buy more US gas and armament. And she does so even without any counterparty, for instance on GAFAM regulations.

🌹A new humiliating trade deal between EU and the US has been agreed upon, and while a 15 % tariff is an improvement from the 30 % originally suggested by the US, it is still not enough.

⚫️ Nous n’oublions pas. Le 22 juillet 2011, 69 jeunes travaillistes norvégiens de l’ @aufnorge.bsky.social étaient victimes d’un attentat néo-nazi lors de leur camp d’été. Nous honorons leur mémoire, et poursuivons sans relâche la lutte contre les discours de haine qui mènent à ces violences.

⚫️Le 11 juillet 1995, il y a 30 ans, débutait le génocide de Srebrenica. Les Jeunes Socialistes se souviennent des 8372 victimes, des 8372 bosniaques massacrés. Nous n'oublions pas et honorons leur mémoire.
