⚫️ Remembering Eemeli Peltonen (15 September 1994 – 19 August 2025), whose life was cut far too short. 👉🏼A respected comrade, public servant and rising star in Finnish politics, Peltonen brought compassion and a deep commitment to his community.

🌹A new humiliating trade deal between EU and the US has been agreed upon, and while a 15 % tariff is an improvement from the 30 % originally suggested by the US, it is still not enough.

👉🏼Yesterday, The Madleen, carrying essential aid to Gaza was intercepted and boarded by Israeli authorities. ⚠️The activists on board were uncontactable, raising serious concerns for their safety and wellbeing. This action is an attempt to obstruct humanitarian assistance to a region in urgent need.

Today we remember the legacy of @Europarl_EN President David Sassoli, gone too soon 3 years ago. A true European who fought all his life for social justice, equality and peace. His remarkable work and commitment is an inspiration to all of us.
