Hi y'all! Just a few things for those new followers - I rarely follow back. I rarely post political shit, there's plenty of others who do it better. I *try* to keep my f bombs in check. 90 % of my posts are about my writing. And cat pictures. Or what I'm cooking for dinner. ?'s, just ask.

Spend the day largely offline & field tripping to Old Orchard in search of a couple of sweaters. Came home with books, vanilla paste, cheese cloth and bath bombs. HA. At least it got me out of the apartment for a few hours.

It looks like a lit mag that published a story of mine last year went belly up. Website gone, etc. Looking at where I can submit to. It's a flash fic/surrealism/thriller sort of story. A dream I had that was heavily influenced on Kane Pixel's Back room YouTube videos. (ie CREEPY AS FUCK)

It is stupid cold out. We're both in for the day. Dinner tonight is crab cakes and roasted asparagus. I'll be writing and bingewatching "Suits". Husband is playing Bioshock for the upteenth time. And there's always playing fetch with the Feline Overlords. It's adulting at it's finest. 😆

Working on various things but distracted by the fact that my husband might lose his eBay store. While he doesn't make a ton of $, it's ten years of work & keeping a 5 star rating down the drain. I'm pissed for him, there's nothing I can do to make it better.

For any writers out there. Tunmise gave my Harold & Sallie stories a beta read & gave me great feedback on plot holes and continuity issues. I would highly recommend using him for beta reading or whatever else your story needs.

I've decided to stop submitting the CNF story about my mom. Being a reader for @hippocampusmag.bsky.social I've read WAY to many similar "my parents were assholes" stories lately. There's good stuff out there but when you read 4 or 5 in a row, it gets old.

Noah had me at all the cat and dog pictures, but seriously, y'all. He's a regular contributor to @atrupar.com Public Notice, and writes and publishes poetry.

One of my stories has racked up 70 submissions/50 rejections. I'm taking the hint & have buried it on the laptop to let it sit for a few months. It sucks because I liked it, but it needs an overhaul/rewrite. I've still got plenty of stuff to work on.
