After getting a little better, bloos eye clouded over again 2 weeks ago, and then last week he developed a brand new massive ulcer. We immediately put him on anti virals, back on antibiotics, and drug for chronic conjunctivitis, then Saturday our vet bought her dog in to get serum from him.

In case some of you didn’t know, we can’t have a Christmas tree because real or fake, Bloo would try and eat it. So this is how we decorate for Christmas. Mothman is a new addition

Bloos eye is unwell again so I’ve been back to the vet twice in two days via lifts from friends and then taxis. Not something I really recommend tbf. Ulcer is still healed, this is something else. Not entirely sure what as his eye is too cloudy to get a proper look, so we’re doing a two pronged -

After 6 long weeks of very intense care and medication, Bloo has been declared fit and healthy(ish). His eye ulcer has healed up completely. Keeping him on just the serum for a few days to make sure anything microscopic has healed up, but after that it's business as usual!

Sewed another bandana for Bloo out of some Halloween fat quarters I got on sale this weekend. Eye patch is drawn on to save you the horror that is the bad eye.

Cat needed space upstairs for his litterbox so I wasn’t constantly having to avoid tripping over it. So he got the guest room that’s very rarely used as a guest room. It’s now the cat room and he hasn’t left since I put him in there 2 hours ago.

Leena, have you even read the documentation? It makes it very clear on page 235 (footnotes) that NORMAL_PERSON is unecessary (I thought we all agreed on this back in the 90s) This forum is for professionals, please check documentation before posting. You’ll learn a lot and save me a lot of time

Good boy appreciation post!!! After 4 looooong weeks, he’s finally upped his game and started healing his eye ulcer!! We saw the ophthalmologist last week and she said it was starting to heal but she was disappointed by the progress. ——

Currently basically trapped from getting into anything deeply bc I have to give the cat 3 different eye drops 6 times a day and also give his eye an iodine rinse once a day. Very tiring. Back to the vet on Friday for the 4th time in a little over 2 weeks to check progress with the new meds. 🥲

Had a screen break evening and hand stitched a bandana for Bloo. I haven’t sewn outside of basic repairs in over a decade so I’m pretty chuffed with it!
