What is the use for PDS_PLC_ROTATION_KEY_K256_PRIVATE_KEY_HEX when creating a PDS? I thought rotation keys were used only for users did:plc addresses, but my understanding of all things related to cryptography and certificates is veeeeery poor.

The only reason I haven’t installed my own PDS yet is I can’t decide if trying to install on the root of my domain or it doesn’t deserve the extra effort and do it on atproto.domain.tld or something like that

How does this work at the Atproto level? Are they blocking/removing the messages on the PDS, the relay, the appview…?

I'm impressed with how easy to use is @coolify.io I was confused at first because I couldn't find how to manage certs/Let's Encrypt config/..., but the reason I couldn't find this was you just don't do any of that, Coolify does it automagically for you.

What are the current “weak points” of atproto? I can think of: - centralized DID control - lack of private data (this is a superset of private data, encrypted DMs, accounts that are not public,…) - backfilling information older than the Appview, i.e. fetching likes for a post older than the appview
