I finally finished watching Buffy for the first time. Pretty good show that. I think it has moments of brilliance, an average episode rating of ‘good’, and an unfortunately rushed finale. I’m not a big Christmas Movie guy, but just watched The Holiday and I thought it was pretty great. Wasn’t expecting a fairly nuanced take of human relationships and their flaws. But also Jude Law is, as expected, playing British Man ™.

Finally finished Arcane S2. It’s good. …which is a gigantic step down from the essentially perfect S1. Writing, and especially pacing, felt super off on many occasions. Still looks incredible and some great moments and episodes, but overall it’s now just…good.

Not to get too deep, but 2024 was a very big year for me. Lots of personal changes, lots of personal growth. I feel like I’ve really given myself the best chance of having a great 2025. I know people often say ‘this will be my year’, and it can be kinda hollow but…2025 will be my year.

Last night I had the most normal, realistic dream I’ve ever had. I then went back to sleep and had *multiple dreams* explaining to other people how normal my original dream was. I live a pretty wild life.
