The truth: we need migration. The problem: too many politicians are terrified to say it. Why? They're led by a) toxicity of the charlatans & b) wealthy media organisations who demand these useful distractions rather than us talking about inequality. Reject it. Draw the line.

Recognising Palestine is not the final destination. It is only a first tiny step on the long road to justice and liberty for the Palestinian people. When will this government suspend arm sales? When will they stop the spy flights? When will they cut ties with the Israeli state?

I of course welcome the recognition of the state of Palestine. And there won't be a Palestinian state left if government's continue enabling Israel's unfolding genocide. Labour can't credibly support Palestinian statehood whilst also continuing to arm Israel.

The UK government has confirmed it will finally recognise the state of Palestine - a welcome step. But this must be accompanied by real, concrete actions to bring an end to the genocide in Gaza, including boycotts, sanctions and the end of arms sales to Israel.

The UN has confirmed what we already knew: Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians. Only last week our government were denying this reality and continue to sell arms to Netanyahu's genocidal regime. They must wake up and act now to end the genocide.

Paid a visit to the London arms fair today... Found a component for cluster munitions, banned under international law, on full display. Confirmed by staff, and removed swiftly by event organisers. But what else remains? These vile weapons should never be peddled in the UK.

Yet another capitulation to Reform, when all the evidence shows that following the far right agenda is a disaster for centrist parties. Politics 101, which Starmer has once again entirely failed to grasp.

The media enabled this. Governments enabled this. Incidents like this must be happening every day, and will get worse. I'm so ashamed of where we are now.

I wouldn’t have thought many Labour MPs came into politics to strip the rights of torture survivors to be reunited with the spouses & children. They need to take a long hard look in the mirror & ask whether Starmer, Cooper & Reeves are really the leadership their careers should be remembered with.

Starmer’s only response this week has been to comment that they will ‘send back’ people seeking safety on small boats. No mention of establishing safe routes and no humanity towards desperate and traumatised human beings.

The very richest in society currently produce 10 times more carbon through their domestic travel than the rest of us. And this is set to rise to 13 times by 2035. The threat to our environment isn't migrants or disabled people. It's the super-rich laughing at us from above.

Whatever happens when voting closes on Saturday, this is my last week as Green Party Deputy Leader. I just want to say a huge thank you to every single member - your energy has powered me across England & Wales these past few years.
