Almost every PC game ever made generates an identical list of resolutions to choose from, including resolutions that didn't exist when the game was made This feature is more consistent than not crashing when you tab out Does anyone know how it works? Is it a library function? A popular code snippet?

It pains me to say this as someone who adores the last two games, but Endless Legend 2 feels like it's had a lot of the flavor sucked out? Almost everything in EL1 & ES2 had full artworks and long flavor text attached, that's mostly gone in this entry (Possible it's coming later in early access?)

Hey question for gamedev friends: For context, you can basically think about linear algebra as a geometry problem ("a matrix is a sort of rubiks cube of vectors floating in space"), or as a general-purpose math problem ("a matrix is a system of linear equations which can be Solved") right

Realized yesterday that I can use my billboarded lines to create a nice glow around long thin objects, without using any expensive post-process effects! Good for things like neon signs, glowsticks, or lightsabers. Cheap, and looks great from all angles! #GodotEngine #gamedev #indiedev

idk who needs to hear this but you can game on Linux without there being a desktop-ready SteamOS 3. you can just install any Linux distro (i like Fedora but you can use anything) and install Steam and play games
