It is important for our local politicians to understand what it is like to ride public transit that is used by a large portion of the population!

In his op-ed opposing bus lanes on W 25th, Sam McNulty claims “it isn’t about parking,” yet concludes by demanding on-street parking be preserved. That contradiction shows parking is a core concern-one that risks trading reliable transit for car storage.

Not everyone agrees that traffic routinely delays buses on W 25th, but GCRTA riders live it every day. Sign our petition to support bus lanes on W 25th:

A prime example of why we need bus lanes on W.25th. This is an everyday occurance on this stretch. WIth Bus lanes buses can get to their destinations on time and cars wouldn't have to contend with them either. Thanks to

for the footage.

Lots of great public comments today at the GCRTA board meeting. We want Smart Cards, more service, no bus wraps on windows and for transit police not to be used to enforce immigration.

When did the GCRTA start doing this? Is this just so they can kick out folks just looking for a place to stay warm? Why now that it's starting to get colder?
