my thoughts so far after trying the discord alternatives ive seen floating around is that i think they've still got a lot of development to go before reaching the same level of functionality as discord, but they're not as far back as i thought they would be

ive been hearing abt fluxer as a discord alternative and it looks pretty promising, but it's still in its beta and there's still a bunch of issues with it like long loading times and sometimes functions time out (like creating a server category) but i am eyeing it ui wise - very similar to discord
