It's an absolutely minging day outside so we overhauled and reorganised our wardrobes and now I'm knackered but very pleased to have basically double the space that I used to! I even found some awesome clothes tucked away that I'd totally forgotten about!!

I was gonna treat myself to some new clothes and try and be more proud of my body; show off a tiny wee bit more skin. Did some measuring and apparently I'm Killstar's maximum possible size?? Which just makes me feel fucking gross and embarrassed. But that's more money I can just spend on minis 🤷‍♀️

Last day before we close the shop for the quiet weeks in January and kind of redecorate/restock it and stuff, but I'm also looking forward to a wee holiday. Unrelated but today I'm going very yellow and green and cozy!

Finally started watching 'Dark' last night and it got me in a super 80's mood! Luckily Evonne bought me some cool blue shimmery eyeshadow the other day!

The nearby loch is fully frozen over and covered in snow! Just me and the wee ducks out today and I'll be wearing all my layers and thermals while painting space marines in a very quiet shop today I think!!

The GAUL and GUMPTION of customers today. We had a BRILLIANT sales day full of charming people living lovely lives and sharing their joy with me! I barely got to do any mini painting at all! I silvered TWO Deathwatch arms! TWO! The nerve of some people.

Back at work and serving a very cute winged eyeliner that is 100% that thick on purpose and not because I sneezed while drawing one side on and had to even it out...👀

Finished my "Cadian" Command Squad and my Commissar (Artel W proxy) minis today. Didn't quite get everything built that I wanted to prioritise to my painting binge, but I'll find time to build those beautiful Tauroxes asap too #WIP

Back to work tomorrow and it's gonna be pretty quiet in the shop so I need to prep a lot of fun hobby stuff to do while I'm there! First up will be painting my Deathwatch marines I think!! So excited!!

So I didn't get a bingo for 2025 but I did some of the stuff I wanted to which is nice!! For 2026 I've made things a little more achievable but given myself more things I hope to achieve to balance it out! I'm excited for next year honestly!

I was watching a youtuber I love do a voice reveal and learned that her comments were full of people using a new slur id never heard of for us trans folks. It upset me deeply but I'm trying some new stuff I'm working on with my therapist and it's kind of working? Progress??
