As we near the final stretch of #TReNDCaMinA summer school, our students and TAs explored Zambian culture with visits to #KabwataCulturalVillage and downtown Lusaka, connecting with local traditions and everyday life. They’re now refreshed for their classes and projects this week.

Time to reboot the neurons. 🧠 Brains need breaks. No code, no screens, just fresh air, games, stretching, and laughs between students and the TAs. Rule #1: Keep laptops and phones away and relax Our unofficial TA, the campus cat 😅, already knew that rest matters.

Our students kicked off the week with Spikeling from @opensourceneuro.bsky.social, seeing neurons fire live and making theory real. Then they explored @alleninstitute.org open neural data, preparing for upcoming projects.
