I really regret not going for my HCI masters that would have involved a dive into “serious games”. I wasn’t going to receive funding but I could have found a job to cover it… Also masters being useless for extra pay I saw everywhere and to just accept a job. So I ruined all ambition instead

I didn’t think I’d feel grief for a close arcade announcing its closure but it guess that’s just how I am. I like to deny it too. It’s not like a very important thing overall and it’s not even my main arcade but I just like to see things succeed I care about? I don’t know.

Not to shovel to anything corporate, but I first learned of this good woman from The Wild Thornberries on Nick and I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the same for quite a few others my age. But yeah. A very good example of passion IMO.

Feeling like if I get past the 10 minute mark I can get into a flow state. It’s still kinda easy to break at that point but it’s a bit more of a conscious decision. I just..I don’t want to be controlled by the impulse to check here or on phone when I don’t mean to anymore. I really don’t.
