v1.24.1 is out. It contains a fix for a crash that occurred for some users when scrolling their timeline / notifications

Yeah, there is an issue with posts that used to have an image but whose image got deleted afterwards (most likely through moderation). I've pushed an update yesterday and it's already in the review queue at Apple.

The scroll position bug will be fixed in the 1.24.0 update. To make up for the inconvenience, I’ve added customizable app icons in settings. Enjoy the app and share your home screen screenshots! 🚀

FYI: this new Bluesky feature MAY cause problems for you when loading notifications in @skeetsapp.com. I will provide a fix tomorrow.

v1.23.8 is out! This update should finally fix the "Session expired" bug. Please give it a try and let me know if the issue has been resolved for you.

Thanks to the help of @dynavox.bsky.social I think I was able to identify the issue causing the "Session expired" errors. Will publish an update shortly.

Is everyone that is encountering the "Session expired" bug using an app password with DMs disabled with Skeets?

To users encountering the "Session expired" bug: - Did it occur only after the latest update? - How long before the update did you not have the app open? - Does deleting and re-installing the app fix the issue?

Just submitted a bugfix for the crash and pushed it into the expedited review queue - so fingers crossed it should be avail shortly. I'll try to reproduce the other login issue (expired session) tomorrow.

A bug is causing a crash when trying to compose a new post on iPads with the latest release. I'm working on a bugfix and will provide it shortly. Sorry for that and stay tuned.

I’ll push an update tonight that will let you re-enable it. If it worked for you you should be able to use it while I investigate why it made problems for some.

It took a little while but 1.23.0 is available in the App Store. Biggest improvement on iOS is a brand new photo picker in the composer. Have fun!!!

Since I’ve got you here while we wait for Apple to finish reviewing the update - I know I’ve been a bit quiet over the past four weeks. That’s because I’ve been deep in work on Skeets’ sister apps, @bluescreen.blue blue and @flashes.blue blue, which share the same code foundation.

I think I found the issue. The app didn’t know how to handle the new „followersOnly“ threadgate rule introduced yesterday. Will provide a fix in a couple of hours! Sorry for the inconvenience!

v1.22.0 is available in the App Store. For Skeets Pro users it introduces a beta feature that will try to persist your scroll position in the timeline across app restarts. For more details please check the attached thread.

For everyone requesting the "save my timeline scroll position across app restarts": I worked on this over the holidays and had it almost done when i hit a wall. The API will only let me query the user's timeline ~5000 posts into the past.

v1.21.0 finally introduces a solution to not loose track of your conversations. Within notifications you now have a dedicated "Mentions" segment that will only host notifications for replies, mentions and quotes. You can still find all other notifications in the "All" segment.

v.1.21.0 / 1.21.1 also finally introduce a GIF picker available through a new button in the bottom of the composer. Furthermore - if you have adult content enabled - you can configure the GIF filter settings for your search results CC @monicarose.ca

Here comes v1.19.3 / v1.19.4 (they’re basically the same - had to follow up with a quick fix release because of a crash in 1.19.3 Besides the changes in the screenshot there are some accessibility advances in the profile view of users plus the indicator in the timeline if you follow someone or not.

Big update with bugfixes coming tomorrow. Just submitted to review.
