went in for a spine evaluation and i’ll be getting a steroid injection and x-rays - and if these things don’t help then surgery might be the next step. im sure it wont come to that but damn i had no idea it was as bad as they said. art might continue to take me more time than i’d like

been thinking about the convo around boosting, allyship, and performativity online. marginalised artists ask for visibility because algorithms can bury their work. a single repost from a larger creator can mean reach, opportunities, even livelihood. that frustration is real and needs to be heard.

audhd/bipolar 2 hypomania has me doing super great for 5 days or so, then i’ll feel the crash coming one day after work and it can be difficult to put everything on pause to recover without guilt. im learning how to work with it but jesus its truly frustrating sometimes
