Due to train delays with the Silver Line, our meeting is delayed 30 minutes. We will start at 3:30 PM.

Way back when he visited the Stadler factory and saw the new DART Silver Line trains, @rmtransit.bsky.social mentioned that they’d managed to make the FLIRTs (an already quiet model) even quieter. I believed it, but experiencing it today was incredible. These trains are practically *silent*!

This is by far the most crowded train i’ve been on since my trip to Japan

Congratulations to Dallas for opening a brand new 26-mile rail line today, connecting DFW airport all the way to Plano! This is the largest expansion to the DART rail network in more than a decade, adding 10 new stations and connections to the Red, Orange, & Green lines

Today's #WeekWithoutDriving adventure: Biking like 40 pounds of compost 11 miles across Dallas only to find that I came on the wrong day. Luckily they let me drop it off anyway. My ride was mostly pleasant and I'd do it again, but planning is key!
