Was at my local grocery store yesterday and witnessed the spectacle of management removing Halloween decorations and replacing them with winter holiday ones. What madness is this?! My poor pumpkins and spiders are being replaced with snowmen and snowflakes week before Halloween. 😭

Another great day making comics!

Went to the first drink n’draw meet up this month and returned home to two dogs licking their lips and a scowl on my partner’s face. Asking him what happened he replied “the dogs got the Cisco chicken.” And indeed they did, bones and all. They are so happy. We are now on bone patrol.

Can agree with Dave, the NCS open houses are super friendly and an awesome experience! My first was last week (I’m not even an NCS member) and everyone there were welcoming and eager to chat during the break out session.

This is amazing news! I am hoping graphic novels and comics get their time on the show since they represent a large portion of kidlit now.
