The juvenile starlings have reached the "bugging the shit out of each other" stage

I love my starlings but they're making me want to invent a flushing bird bath so I can freshen it up for the birds who know enough to not shit in the bath 😐

I am never, ever gonna be chill about lovebirds in my yard, they make me so happy 😁🥰💚🩷

Backyard birding with dogs is fun because they now bark when they hear a new bird call - they alerted me to the return of the starlings, and lost their entire minds the first time they heard a raven 😂 It's less fun when I'm trying to get an audio ID with three dogs barking their fool heads off 🙄

Please enjoy 27 seconds of a lovely, chill, pink and green lovebird hanging out on my bird bath It spent nearly an hour just chilling on the rim while all manner of ruckusy birds did shenanigans around it, utterly unbothered 🩷💚 I'm still not over this bird 😄

Peanut soup! This is one of my favorite great-tailed grackle behaviors: this female grabs peanuts from the tray a few feet away, drops them in the bath to clean them, then eats them at her leisure 🥜

I swapped out the bugs & fruit suet in the woodpecker feeder for pb&j suet they allegedly like better, AND I got the green feeder in the lower right corner & put a woodpecker-specific cylinder in there. AND YET. Volume warning for 0:14 when she calls back to the boy woodpecker
