Made totally-not-Ikea-meatballs for dinner. Made my own gravy by tweaking the taste from a packaged mix, adding cream and bouillon, and boy did it pay off! Not bad for something just tossed together quickly.

Went out for a combination of Pride and No Kings Day, brought the doggo. It was actually a lot of cheerful people, many in inflatable costumes. No hate being spouted, just community supporting one another. That's how it should be.

The HTTYD series is one of my favorite movie franchises ever. I’ve been obsessed w/ Toothless & his design ever since I encountered him, & his Night Light hybrid offspring are cutest things EVER. This is my Night Light OC, Flikka, in her baby form. Her markings are loosely based on my late kitty.

Been watching a fun PBS Kids show called “Lyla in the Loop” with my kiddo. The show is all about critical thinking and problem solving! We love Stu, the little odd creature who takes directions literally, which leads to some interesting problems to solve. No idea what Stu is, other than CUTE!

We have been *very* popular today! Local comic-con appearance, and the first time I've suited in a loooooong while. I am so freaking tired, but it was worth it. Made so many people smile, played with a lot of kids, and gave a TON of hugs. Mission accomplished.
