Finally made a return to Leicester for Beyblade today. Played ONLY RHINOS 🦏🦏 made it into top cut as 3rd seed. Had some issues with judging where questionable calls, ironically, featured in my only match losses.

I think London's dust has finally left my lungs. Just the last dregs of my post-covid cough to get rid of now.

Home now. Pooped now. Despite the huge social strain of such a big event I'm sad to be alone again. And sadder still that I have to go to work again in the morning 😫

Back in the hotel after London NCQ. Organisation at the start was dreadful, once the event was in full swing it was really well done. Had an amazing time but the venue was so dusty I'm still coughing 😭

Dragged @lostsyga.bsky.social to see the Miku film. It was incredible, much more introspective and deep than I was expecting. I cried many tears. Honestly couldn't have better timing given how much the thought of returning to work is dragging at me currently.

Near enough a week on from the Beyblade NCQ...here's my deck. Regret making changes to my regular Mail build, didn't end up using the peewee build at all. Final result a miserable 2-3. And I mean miserable, my losses were *brutal*. But my god what a good day it was regardless!!

Responding to my own previous post. Yes I won some of the battles, so to did Marin. Their most impressive imo being in this clip. I achieve a 50/50 opening from the X-Side with Rhino Horn weaving through my path on the transition as it then lines up the charge which it delivers with a 1, 2 KO punch.

Beyblade locals today had an attendance of 6. I cancelled the Tournament and ran session as casual lab instead. During which I went shopping with @marintitaniia.bsky.social because neither of us can do hours of beys like that. Tournament, yes, private lab, yes. Public Free Play, apparently not.

Low numbers meant tournament became free play, which is not much my vibe in a larger setting, not to mention I was hyped for a tournament so enthusiasm deflated. So @lostsyga.bsky.social and I ran away to go shopping together and now we have a twinsie outfit 🤭

Took 3hrs to make the hr long trip to locals today...but finally here and ready to lose miserably with my 1st gen homage team! Picture feat. All the rhinos as my cheering squad 🤭

Went into yesterday's tournament with a different mindset, as WMB doesn't run locked deck. Somehow swept the preliminaries 5-0 (still baffled by that turn of events) but missed out on top top cut by losing my first (and only) match of the day to first match in finals, landing me in 5th overall
