The Rochester Lilac Festival is this week and I finally went for like the second time in my life

We got a new cat, this gorgeous orange man is named Mr Tippy Taps. Susu, our black cat, is a bit rude to him, but it's much nicer with us than his old home.

Gorgeous day today, got out to the park for a little bit. It's still thawing out, nothing but mud and ice. Happy spring!

So tragic, I finally saw a bald eagle today after months on the lookout. Flew off the moment I got outside with my camera gear, so all I have for proof is a blurry phone picture. Still exciting though, if there's one, there's more, and next time I'll be ready.

It has been cold and unlike many more dedicated photographers, I have not been going out in the cold I did get some neat pictures of my apartment complex when the wind kicked up though.

Today's my birthday! To celebrate I grabbed a Tamron 17-70mm F/2.8 to replace my Sony kit lens and I'm quite happy with it in just the first couple hours of owning it

We’ve had a few frosty mornings lately and this morning there was some fog over the marsh. As the sun started lighting up the far shore, this Great Blue Heron materialized out of the fog and came in for a landing!🪶
