Hollywood has a saying about “sending the elevator back down” to help those on the way up. Robert Redford epitomized this. He didn’t just climb the ladder for himself. He lifted others as he rose. His legacy isn’t just the roles he played, but the countless storytellers he elevated along the way.

Robert Redford was one of a kind. That rare mix of sauve and substance. Brilliant actor, humanitarian, godfather of indie film, and tireless champion for justice and the arts.
