Just been playing Advance Wars Re:Boot Camp and the balance in this game is so weird. Like, 7/8 of the levels in the campaign are engaging and work mechanically and narratively really well, showing off the characters of the villains in the setup and making you adapt

Played a little more Trails of Cold Steel and, as much as I hate the use of the Tsundere, 'Comedic perverted misunderstanding' and 'pervert + violence = comedy' tropes, I at least appreciate that they resolve that fairly quick by just having the two apologise and laugh it off like human beings

Just started Trails of Cold Steel (timely, I know) and felt like having somewhere to talk about it. So, end of the prologue and I'm already fully clocked out with 2 of the core characters. Most of the others are fine-good, but those 2 are bad in a specific enough way that it's worth talking about.
