Semi-finals just wrapped up! Nathan vs Steven where Nathan carefully played around Karakas, through Death and Taxes, but took the win on game 3 by triple Murktide. Our 2nd match's gameplan was for Jesse to keep Michael off big mana, but a fumble on lands let Michael win w/ Mirat

Mystic Forge vs U/B Reanimator, we got big spells flying around. Game 1 Nicholas got 2 Urza's Workships that went off for free, made 12 mana, then Ugin'ed all over that guy. 2nd game was slow and grindy, a Bridge got bounced, then replayed. Then he, again, cast Ugin.

Gotta Catch 'Em All! The Store 4 and Top 8 boxes that were sent to all of our stores were designed to have this cool insert in it so they weren't, just, rattling around. Players surprisingly loved it, so if you collected 8 pins this season we had them come and get their own box!

We've got @haraln.bsky.social and Chris on Wallstreet Dreadnaught and Naya Initiative Game 1 Chris had a brutal mull to 5 and Harain closed out with Curie + Dreadnaught combo. 2nd Harain just came out swinging with a perfect curve out into Tamiyo, Orb, and of course, Dreadnaught.

Jack Yudt, last year's runner up, VS Jeff Chiang in a nice mono v mono matchup! Both players had some powerful early Ancient Tomb draws the first 2 games, but Fury + Reflection of Kiki-Jiki had Jack take this win!

We have last year's DMVLL Champ, Brady Munroe, versus Scott Waldron in a classic Nadu vs Izzet Delver match where Scott eeked out the exact damage he needed to stave off Nadu and win on game 3!

Dan vs Nelson on Mono Red Stompy vs Grixis Tempo! Both mulled to 5 in game 2 and gentlemen's agreed to go to game 3 to get up to 7. They snap keep the full hand. Then Nelson got his One Ring on 3, slowly killing Dan, but was otherwise locked out of the game, but Dan 2-0-1'd !

First Feature Match we have Danny vs Dylan on Doomsday vs Mardu Energy! Wild game 1 where Danny mulled to 6, Dylan mulled to 5. THEN BAM DOOMSDAY TURN 1! Dylan has to get that other 10 life before Danny can dig for Thoracle. 2 cards left in Danny library, 50/50 chance, he loses!!

The Classic had such a great showing yesterday, we are so glad to see those 4 extra Invites go out! We're well on our way into round 1 📣

@nathansteuer pulled out the swift 2-0 to take home The Classic trophy! Game 1 he pulled off Reanimate last second on Atraxa and rode her to victory. Game 2? Played carefully around a Surgical Extraction to reanimate a Barrowgoyf...and rode it to victory. Congrats!

As you can see our two opponents are LOCKED IN. Scott barely sneaked in lethal by Brazen Borrower bouncing the almighty Mirate Lage!

Honestly? A fast Tamiyo had half of Nathan's deck in his hand and that was that.

BEHOLD! The Top 8 Bracket! We had some really exciting games with narrowly won victory, Bowmaster shenanigans, and Izzet delver mirror matches decided by whoever wins the Cori-Steel Cutter fight. Be ready for our top matches and who takes home the trophy!

Brady vs Nathan DMVLL Champ vs World Champ! Spoiler alert- Nathan won 2-1 with U/B Reanimator. Brady won game 1 despite an Atraxa, but World Champ Nathan brought it back. Our other feature match Andrew vs Henry had Andrew drawing half his deck via Tamiyo and Nadu both games!

Our next feature went all 3 games this round with @Dunlink83 and Scott playing U/B Reanimator and U/R Delver! Paul reanimated Atraxa right out the gate and Scott couldnt respond. Game 2 many Cori-Steel Cutters does its thing, but game 3 was battle of the dragons that Scott won!
