like I feel like the problem with like basic literacy is overblown but then there is a significant problem with more advanced texts

I feel like the bigger problem with reading now is people don't use dictionaries like I've seen this with so many classmates where they'll be reading a textbook and they'll say like I don't know what these words he's using mean and it's like there is literally just a go-to way to solve this problem
