Took my boy (newly 5) to Cardiff game. He's in his 1st year going to rugby training. We went with his Taid, who is here for Xmas. He waved a flag. He went on the pitch. He met Alun Lawrence (who asked if he'd had a nice Xmas, what a gent) Fan for life IF it continues. What a thing to throw away.

Win next week and it's entirely possible the Ospreys will have gone from dead bottom of the table to in the play-off places in less than 7 days. Never write off the birds.

Jac has made it clear he'd rather have stayed in Swansea. This isn't about money, or opportunity – it's about the WRU deliberately putting the Ospreys in a position where any new contract offer comes with a huge dose of uncertainty. So he's gone. An act of pure vandalism we will never forget.

The more I think about it, we got into this debacle largely because people who hadn't really considered what it would involve and how hard and trying and dangerous it was going to be kept suggesting cutting a team so fuck it. Gonna start doing the same thing suggesting we go up to five regions.

I think Gareth Davies puts a VERY rose-tinted view of his time at the WRU here, but he's not wrong in noting that the last time they had a £100m+ turnover, as they do now, they funded the regions to the tune of £26m. Would love to know what's changed? www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/rugby/...

#RoadToWRUin Day 25: The WRU continue to shape the narrative that cutting clubs is the only game in town. Sadly ChumV have fallen for it yet again.

Genuinely got a bit too excited looking at the Montauban line-up to play the Ospreys tomorrow and seeing they have Namibia legend Tjiuee Uanivi on the bench. We never got to play against Dupont, but if we go, we'll go having played one true legend of the game this season.

The most open and variable position in rugby for around 6 years. If there was a “best in your position in the world” title belt it would be changing every season basically.
