In today's world, trade and development policies need to work alongside. In this context, it was a great honor to be invited by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland yesterday to share my vision on this and deliver an introductory remark at their #DevelopmentPolicyDays in Helsinki.

How can we collectively react to the current context regarding the international cooperation agenda? We were more than 1,000 colleagues, online and physically in Brussels, to to brainstorm. I am proud of how we anticipated the storm and redesigned our strategy 5 years ago. We were prepared!
