I am fucking tired but so happy that I'm not to be on the substance use unit tonight. My blankets are calling me.

There are some people in the behavioral health field that really need to either retire, take a vacation, or just keep their mouths shut! This job is hard enough without shitty burnouts mad because they have to you know work!

Even with tonight's impromptu adrenaline surge I'm so glad I got the next 3 nights off

About to do my last round of the night and then I'm pretty much done for the rest of my shift

It astounds me seeing how wrapped up my co workers are in each other's lives and completely incentive they are when patients aren't in earshot.

I'm gonna start carrying painkillers in my lunch bag. My head has been pounding the last couple nights.

Well fuck me...the one night I don't bring a fully stocked medicine cabinet and my body decides it wants to be in pain all night.

5 shots of espresso at 40mg caffeine added to my cappuccino yet I feel like I'm dragging ass at everything tonight

Got a full department and only know one person

So glad time changed I only have to work for 11 hrs.
