I want to be the reason that your tummy flips and your thighs ask questions.

My steps are amongst the fields, in the soil of the ghosts of my blood. Present is both old and new, wondering and becoming. The bastion of indecision left behind as a crumbling ruin. There isn't a dark that scares me any longer. Consume what would swallow you. And thrive as a creature reborn.

How can you brave enough to open the door when you're too frightened to crack the window.

Let's rearrange the stars to light our bedroom gaze.

I've lived my days in between wandering and rabbit holes. Understanding the life lessons in the difference of area opposed to volume. How that shows in smiles and drifts in a silence held too long. I would rather coat the walls than take up space. Buried under the waves that crush the skyline.

Cup the booty when you bestow the forehead kiss. Trust me.

It's like the man said. This city deserves a better class of criminal.

There are those who say, and those who do. Try not to be only one of them for the rest of your days.

Welcome the solstice with a glad heart and a renewal of spirit.

My heart is the well to draw your summers from. My lips mouth sutras in the forest paths of my Green Man delight. Beyond the borders of proper people and dull moments. Find in me a sacral space, a bed of flowers that just left spring. Half past an Osiris awakening in bits and pieces. Whole again.

Remember the gratitude you left behind to run under the bright lights that drowned you. That was me.

I asked for the blade to be driven home with a kiss and a smile to comfort my shade beyond the veil.

Belief doesn't stop for me. Through the grey, the dark clouds, thunder without the lightning. I long for it, and I find my faraway features to hold. The love is only a beginning to the dance that was made for your sliding steps. My bell to ring in a tummy that wears my kisses like jewelry.

Heed the mysterious she brings to your table. It wasn't easy to let a single flower bloom in her garden over the years. The soil was better than the seeds. Rain was hard to come by. Tender sprouts need a space of gentleness that knows what loss feels like. Appreciate her lessons that are hard won.

You say words like resolution, as if you saw the faces of the gods.

Ask me what I want, and I'll quote you sonnets that never saw my pages.

You won't find ruin on the path that destiny led you to. Through fire and loss, turmoil and fear. The sun of your purpose was waiting for you in the clouds you used to wrap your awareness in. Let loose the moment, return the chains you grew to love, the doubts that stayed. Live here now, together.

Bold of you to assume that I am made of so simple a thing as dirt.

I'll find you when you've lost your way. In the noise, the shadows, the insanity of day to day. I'm there.

These are days where the idea of reality drifts into legend and scattered facts that change by the moment. I have no fear of chaos. Sanity is a gift I allow myself after the stars stop weeping in the evening. I wear my stillness like a shroud on my nameday. Eager to place calm in your heart of me.

Start up the music of dawn. Run beneath the trees and dance for the pure delight of it. The soil and these hands are here to nourish you.

The hills know the echo of the sagas I recite. A scop out of time handing down the oral history. The firelight bathing my face as my words tumble out, the cadence of ancient lawgivers. My mind rests between waking and dreaming hopes. A seer of wondering and walking to the sunrise past the trees.

You don't stop to bandy metaphors when the water goddess comes calling. This is the time to embrace and explore, to taste the droplets as they cascade down beloved curves that fit your hands as if made for them. Let the heartbeats squish as the flesh collides. Beat the sound out of the ribcage lust.

You won't find any mysteries in the way I look at you under the moonlight. That is not a time to be calculated or analytical. The beast is loose, the howls have begun, and you and I have something primal to eat. Background fades away, teeth seeking, grasping in the dark. We hunt us. #emoetry

The blinds opened when she asked for depth, letting the light bathe our needs. She said she wasn't one for shallow tiptoeing. I talked about being off the map where the monsters were. Kraken deep, angler connections, puddles left behind. To swim and drown and still retain the subtlety of art within.

She brought the fountain for which I ever long for. Never to know thirst again in those waters.
