Great to hear that Atherstone Folk Club has new blood at the helm. Obviously pleased that our booking next March will be going ahead, but more delighted that the club will continue as a venue for live folk music for the East Midlands.

Sad news that Atherstone Folk Club may close next month unless someone steps up to take over from stalwart Phil Benson, who is stepping down after 13 years of sterling service. One of the East Midlands “Holy Trinity” of clubs, Nuneaton, Bedworth and Atherstone, it will be a sad day indeed. Unless…

Lovely afternoon with the guys at the Memory Café at the Watermark, Ivybridge. Some of the repertoire was material we don’t often perform, but it was well received, and gratifying to see people reacting and joining in.

Wonderful gig with Reg Meuross tonight. A full house, a warm and receptive audience and Reg on top form. His “Fire and Dust” material about Woody Guthrie is exceptional.

We'll be back on duty at Folk on the Moor on Sunday night, hosting the visit of Chris Newman and Maire ni Chathasaigh. Chris is an outstanding guitarist and Maire is the doyenne of the Irish harp. From Bach to Hot Club of Paris via O'Carolan. What's not to like?!! (sold out)

Saturday night we will be supporting one of the UK's foremost singer-sonwriters, Reg Meuross. This will be at Clent Folk Club near Stourbridge. The event has sold out, so we're loking forward to a great night!
