Great to hear that Atherstone Folk Club has new blood at the helm. Obviously pleased that our booking next March will be going ahead, but more delighted that the club will continue as a venue for live folk music for the East Midlands.

Sad news that Atherstone Folk Club may close next month unless someone steps up to take over from stalwart Phil Benson, who is stepping down after 13 years of sterling service. One of the East Midlands “Holy Trinity” of clubs, Nuneaton, Bedworth and Atherstone, it will be a sad day indeed. Unless…
