The audio drama that got me into podcasts was The Edge of Sleep. This was back in 2019 and since then the second season has been announced but is since then in absolute limbo. At least we got a book and a TV show!

Just watched Twister (1996) and Twisters (2024) back to back. I liked them both but they have completely different vibes. Twisters has a nice aesthetic but Twister feels heavier. I don't know if it's the CGI but the tornados feel more powerful and dangerous in the original.

Everyone remembers the early 2000s differently. I was a toddler sitting in a village in Kazakhstan that is almost impossible to find on Google maps. So all I remember is seeing cows on the streets and me running after geese. I also remember that one big lake that is the name sake of the village
