Meanwhile in the US, we get ads boasting about companies no longer needing to hire us while our poverty crisis gets more and more extreme. genAI legitimately feels like another weapon in the country's war against its own citizens and Its extremely obvious that the JP community isnt aware. [3/?]

When i went, 1 of the first things i noticed is how much AI is embraced on the media over there. There were entire TV presentations with hosts reacting to silly AI animal vids. Dealing with the cultural divide between US/Japan on the topic of genAI is so frustrating when the industry hasnt yet shown its true nature to them like its done to us.
