Being trapped in semi-convalescent post op recovery as a hyper independent eldest daughter is a unique type of hell. I am just well enough to feel like I should be doing things, but just ill enough that if I try to do anything, I will probably keel over. My only recourse is to b*tch and moan.

I am grateful that after 3 days of post op rest I can finally get out of bed and move around a little because that wallpaper was low-key starting to talk to me
