The only time I saw Deep Purple was on this tour on the final night in Liverpool. They said later on it was one of their worst ever gigs. Tommy Bolin didn't really suit them (he was a fabulous guitarist as his playing on Billy Cobham's Spectrum album shows) I believe they split up after it 🤣
