❗️SNAP UPDATE: The appeals court denied the administration's request for a stay on yesterday's order in our lawsuit, requiring full SNAP benefits be paid today! Great news. BUT, the admin has already filed an emergency application to the Supreme Court and asked for a decision by 10:30pm. Stay tuned.

❗️We did it (for now)! ❗️ Our lawsuit was successful - US district court is blocking OMB from moving forward on its reckless plan to halt federal funding. The stay is until Monday, so still much more to do. For now - take a breath, take a rest, and buckle up - we’re not done.

🚨OMB sent a memo to federal agencies this evening, requiring all federal loans and grants be paused by 5pm tomorrow. 🚨 Financial assistance is defined here to include all federal grants/loans except those that provide direct assistance to individuals.

President Trump fired the Inspectors General of most federal agencies late last night. Inspectors general are charged with rooting out government waste, fraud, abuse and preventing misconduct. www.nytimes.com/2025/01/24/u...

By 5pm yesterday, all federal agencies were directed to shut down any DEI and LGBTQ+ equity programs, remove DEI and LGBTQ+ webpages, put federal employees working on such programs on administrative leave, and terminate federal contracts for DEI and LGBTQ+ work.
